NexGuard — the basics

Is the free plan actually free?
Yes — no card, no trial countdown, no expiry. Paid plans raise daily limits and vault storage; the free tier stays free.
Is this an antivirus?
No. NexGuard works on configuration and exposure — weak locks, stale patches, over-permissioned apps, risky settings — rather than malware signatures.
Can you read what’s in my vault?
Your passwords and authenticator secrets, no — those use a key that cannot leave your phone. Photos and documents you choose to open on the web use a key we hold, and we say so plainly.
Does it watch me in the background?
No. There is no access to your messages, calls, contacts, microphone, camera or screen. Scam and link checks run only on text you paste in yourself.
Which devices does it run on?
Android 8.0 and newer, no root required.
